Flemington Green

Flemington Green

Flemington Green aims to bring sustainable living education to the Vietnamese, Chinese and East African communities in Flemington. Though workshops and field trips, at least 15 people from each community will learn how to reduce their own environmental footprints and they’ll be given free products to help them get started.

As you'll see, workshops with the Vietnamese community are underway. A group of 18 women have been attending weekly sessions at the Vietnamese Welfare and Resource Centre on the estate, learning about saving energy, saving water (with help from our partners at City West Water) and reducing waste.
